DetailsHandmade in my Connecticut studio. I love dendritic agates. They're natural stones, but they appear to contain little landscapes or seascapes. There's something deeply moving about the resemblance between a mineral deposit like the one in this stone and a stand of trees or coral. I set this dendritic agate in a fine silver bezel. The colors in the stone range from black to golden yellow with little flecks of bright red.
The chain for this necklace is handmade and consists of circular hammered links of different sizes in argentium sterling silver. The chain can be worn with or without the pendant, and the pendant can be moved to any link on the chain, so the decorative handmade clasp can be worn at the back or featured in the front or on one side. -
