DetailsEntirely designed and handmade by me in my Connecticut studio. Alexander Calder's mobile sculptures have inspired many imitators, and for good reason. These earrings balance--literally--so that the different lengths of the two-part drop maintain their position while bobbing gently with your every movement. Gem-quality old-stock tourmaline in a range of pink shades catches the light. (Seriously, these are remarkable stones, clear and full of delicious tourmaline color.) The argentium sterling silver that I use exclusively in my silver jewelry is hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant as well as durable and beautiful. Tourmaline is a birthstone for October.
